Master of Radiation Medicine

Program Overview

The Master of Radiation Medicine at Alfaisal University aims to train the next generation of scientist and leaders in the field of physics applied to medicine for therapeutics or imaging purposes, through a strong exposure to academic research, radiation medicine clinical practice, academic leadership, and medical ethics. The program will provide an innovative approach to graduate education and training by exposing students to international faculties, mentors, and speakers.

Admission Criteria
  1. The applicant must have a bachelor's degree or a recognized equivalent from an accredited institution that is accepted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in a related field.
  2. A satisfactory scholastic average; a minimum grade average of "very good" in the bachelor’s degree in the disciplines of physics of radiation or material, biophysics, radiology, radiation technology or therapy, biomedical engineering, and medicine.
  3. Alfaisal Graduates or applicants who come from a country or political entity where English is not the official language adequate proficiency in English to do graduate work, as evidenced by an IELTS Band score of at least 5.5 or a TOEFL Band score of at least 65
  4. Applicants are required to submit two recent letters of recommendation.
  5. Students must provide a one-page max statement of purpose.
  6. An Interview with the applicant may be requested, if required.
