Program Overview
The Master Degree in Cardiac Nursing will enable postgraduate nurses to develop their professional autonomy while providing role models and educational and leadership support. The development of postgraduate pathways in collaboration with reputable Saudi Universities will assist in meeting national transformational program goals in support of Vision 2030. This Master Degree is designed to advance Saudi Arabian registered nurse cardiac knowledge and skills enabling the nurse to meet contemporary challenges in advanced cardiac nursing. Participation in the program will develop an understanding of the nursing and medical care requirements for all levels of adult and paediatric patient complexity, and will assist the registered nurse to integrate theory with practice supporting both academic and clinical competence. By enhancing theoretical knowledge and practical abilities, postgraduate qualified cardiac registered nurses will be able to more effectively deliver expert clinical assessment, make decisions and manage patients, while supporting evidence based practice.

Job Oppurtunities
On successful completion of the program, students may seek employment in inpatient and outpatient areas such as cardiology, cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, heart failure, cardiac transplant and other cardiovascular specialties, in clinical, management and education positions.
